Privacy policy

What we collect

• Test data: your answers, how long each took, your age band and your score.
• Account data: your email address and, if you add one, the name on your certificate.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Cookies: strictly necessary ones that remember your test and sign you in. No advertising cookies.

Why

• To score your test and show your results (to perform our contract with you).
• To bill you and send receipts, trial reminders and account emails (contract and legal obligation).
• To improve our scoring norms, using anonymized, aggregated test data (legitimate interest).
• To send you puzzles and announcements, only if you opt in. Unsubscribe anytime.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data or share your scores with anyone. Certificate pages are only visible to people you give the link to, and search engines are asked not to index them.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and test data while your account is open. Email support@cleariqtest.com to get a copy or have it deleted. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires.

Processors

Stripe (payments), our email provider (sign-in links and receipts), and our hosting provider.
